Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical vision and architectural framework of bespoke software projects. This role requires guiding and mentoring teams through the entire lifecycle of software design and implementation, ensuring that solutions meet organizational goals. The position demands continuous collaboration with various stakeholders to align development efforts with business priorities, while maintaining a focus on delivering scalable and high-performing software products. The lead also dedicates time to reviewing progress, addressing challenges, and fostering an environment of innovation and quality throughout the project duration.

Role: Databricks Data Engineer responsible for building and enabling data mesh pipelines and IBDF tool adoption for consumer migration and Client 360 use cases within the CDM pod.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Lead and mentor team members to enhance their technical capabilities and project contributions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize development processes and product quality.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of data pipeline architectures and data warehousing solutions.
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms and big data technologies.
- Ability to design and implement scalable data processing systems.
- Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance standards.
- Skilled in optimizing data workflows for performance and reliability.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Data Engineering.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
