Summary:
As a Data Migration Engineer, a typical day involves managing the end-to-end process of transferring data from one system to another. This includes carefully extracting data from source systems, applying necessary transformations to align with target system requirements, and loading the data accurately. The role requires building and executing migration scripts, continuously monitoring the process, and validating the results to maintain data integrity and consistency throughout the migration lifecycle. Collaboration with various teams to ensure smooth execution and timely resolution of any issues is also a key part of daily activities.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and migration objectives.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation of migration processes and workflows.
- Monitor migration progress and troubleshoot any issues that arise during execution.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support in migration tasks.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Snowflake Data Warehouse.
- Experience in designing and implementing data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
- Strong knowledge of data validation techniques to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Familiarity with scripting languages and automation tools to streamline migration workflows.
- Ability to analyze complex data structures and optimize migration performance.
- Understanding of data governance and security best practices in data handling.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Snowflake Data Warehouse.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
