As a Data Migration Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the comprehensive planning and execution of data migration activities to guarantee that data is transferred accurately and completely to the target system. This role requires coordinating multiple teams, establishing effective migration strategies and controls, and proactively managing potential risks. The position demands continuous communication and collaboration to ensure a seamless and dependable transition of data, while monitoring progress and addressing any challenges that arise during the migration process.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Develop and implement best practices for data migration processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Monitor project timelines and deliverables to ensure milestones are met and quality standards are maintained.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to support professional growth and skill development.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- Experience with data integration and transformation techniques within large-scale data environments.
- Strong understanding of data governance, quality assurance, and validation methodologies.
- Ability to design and implement migration frameworks that ensure data integrity and security.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and distributed computing concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on optimizing data workflows and resolving migration challenges.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
