Summary:
As a Data Modeler, a typical day involves engaging closely with various stakeholders including business representatives, data owners, end users, application designers, and data architects. The role focuses on understanding existing data structures and designing new data models that align with business needs and technical requirements. This position requires continuous collaboration to ensure data models are accurate, efficient, and scalable, supporting both current operations and future growth. The Data Modeler plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business objectives and technical implementation through detailed data analysis and thoughtful design.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and refinement of data models to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to clarify data requirements and resolve discrepancies.
- Mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge and best practices in data modeling and analytics.
- Continuously evaluate and improve data modeling processes to enhance efficiency and data quality.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- Experience in designing and implementing scalable data models that support complex business processes.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and data integration techniques.
- Ability to work with large datasets and optimize data storage and retrieval.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and distributed computing environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on data accuracy and consistency.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
