Summary:
As a Data Modeler, a typical day involves engaging closely with various stakeholders including business representatives, data owners, end users, application designers, and data architects. The role focuses on understanding existing data structures and designing new data models that align with business needs and technical requirements. This position requires continuous collaboration to ensure data models support organizational goals and facilitate efficient data management and utilization across projects. The Data Modeler plays a vital role in bridging the gap between business objectives and technical implementation through thoughtful data design and analysis.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to ensure data models are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business units to clarify data requirements and resolve discrepancies.
- Mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge and best practices related to data modeling and design.
- Continuously evaluate and improve data modeling processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Modeling Techniques and Methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of relational and dimensional data modeling concepts.
- Experience with database design and data warehousing principles.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into effective data models.
- Familiarity with data governance and metadata management practices.
- Skilled in using data modeling tools and software to create and maintain models.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Data Modeling Techniques and Methodologies.
- This position is based at our Mumbai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
