Summary:
As a Data Platform Architect, a typical day involves designing and implementing the overall blueprint for the data platform, ensuring that all components work harmoniously. This role requires close collaboration with Integration Architects and Data Architects to align system integrations and data models effectively. The position demands a strategic approach to building scalable and efficient data solutions that support organizational goals, while continuously refining the platform to meet evolving business needs. The architect plays a pivotal role in shaping the data infrastructure and fostering seamless communication across various teams to maintain a unified data environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and enforcement of data platform standards and best practices to ensure consistency and quality.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentorship within the team to promote professional growth and technical excellence.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable data platform designs.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- Strong expertise in designing and implementing scalable data architectures using cloud-based platforms.
- Experience with data integration techniques and tools to ensure seamless data flow across systems.
- Ability to optimize data storage and processing for performance and cost efficiency.
- Familiarity with data governance principles and security best practices in data platform design.
- Skilled in troubleshooting complex data platform issues and providing effective solutions.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
