Summary:
As a Data Platform Architect, a typical day involves designing and implementing the overall data platform architecture, ensuring that all components work seamlessly together. This role requires close collaboration with various architects to align system integrations and data models, fostering a unified and efficient data environment. The position demands strategic planning and coordination to build a robust data platform blueprint that supports organizational goals and technological advancements.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and refinement of data platform strategies to meet evolving business needs.
- Facilitate communication and alignment between cross-functional teams to ensure consistent implementation of data solutions.
- Mentor junior team members to support their growth and enhance overall team capabilities.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- Strong knowledge of cloud-based data architectures and distributed computing.
- Experience with data integration techniques and tools to ensure seamless data flow.
- Ability to design scalable and secure data solutions that support large volumes of data.
- Familiarity with data governance and compliance standards to maintain data integrity.
- Skilled in troubleshooting complex data platform issues and optimizing performance.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 15 years of experience in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- This position is based at our BBDC1A - NON-STPI location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
