Accenture Strategy & Consulting is seeking a Consultant – Transportation & Logistics to join our S&C Global Network (GN) Industrial Consulting team. In this role, you will lead high-impact client engagements, shape business development pursuits, and contribute to thought leadership that defines the future of global supply chains and mobility.

Transportation and Logistics team within S&C GN Industrial Practice brings extensive expertise in driving operational efficiency and digital transformation across our clients. we specialize in digital transformations, end-to-end supply chain optimization, freight and fleet management, route planning and optimization, last-mile delivery solutions, warehouse and inventory management, process automation and digitization, sustainability initiatives, cold chain logistics, advanced analytics and data-driven insights, IoT and asset tracking solutions, and industry benchmarking and best practices. Our Rail expertise spans asset management, railway operations, customer journey transformation, rail freight, smart mobility, and digital solutions.

Transportation and Logistics team within S&C GN Industrial Practice brings extensive expertise in driving operational efficiency and digital transformation across our clients. We specialize in:

• Railway logistics and operations optimization
• Digital transformations and new-age technologies (IoT, AI/ML, automation, predictive maintenance)
• Supply chain and network optimization for freight and passenger systems
• Smart infrastructure and station management solutions
• Sustainability initiatives and advanced analytics.

Must have Skills in following areas:

• Provide consulting services in either French or German, serving as the primary liaison for clients and stakeholders.
• Communicate complex technical and functional concepts fluently in French or German, both verbally and in written documentation.
• Working knowledge of key rail concepts such as asset management, rail operations, infrastructure management, and customer journey design

• MBA from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 school, or extensive industry experience in railway logistics and consulting.
• 6-10 years of progressive experience in railway management and/or logistics, with consulting exposure.
• Knowledge of railway industry along with skills mentioned above
• Certifications in Project Management (e.g., PMP, Prince2) and familiarity with Agile methodologies are an advantage.
• Experience in strategy and business/technology consulting role conversant with process improvement, cost optimization, customer analytics and experience management etc.
• Experience in value architecting, business case preparation, value realization
• Experience in Digital, New IT, Cloud & Core modernization, Cloud transformation processes, transforming legacy to the cloud, Agile transformation, RPA, AI/ML strategy implementation and use cases
• Familiarity with Agile practices such as Scrum, Kanban, and tools like JIRA, Confluence, and MS Projects to manage complex rail-related projects.
• Knowledge of design thinking workshops and innovation
• Experience in large data analysis, data driven consulting, BI and analytics, reporting, dashboarding, visualization tools like PowerBI, Tableau
• Experience of team Management – Coach and mentor team members in projects, on asset development, business development and overall professional development
• Must have Fluency in German or French (written and spoken)
