Join Accenture as an Oracle Database Administrator, where you will be responsible for building, securing, and maintaining enterprise Oracle database environments that support critical business applications. This role focuses on database reliability, security, high availability, backup readiness, and operational excellence while working closely with infrastructure, security, and application teams.

Responsibilities

• Set up, configure, administer, and maintain Oracle database environments across development, testing, and production platforms.
• Design, implement, and manage Oracle database solutions to ensure optimal performance, availability, and scalability.
• Configure and support Hardware Security Module (HSM) solutions for database encryption and secure key management.
• Implement and maintain High Availability (HA) configurations to support business continuity and minimize downtime.
• Manage database backup onboarding activities, including backup configuration, validation, recovery testing, and compliance requirements.
• Monitor database health, performance, capacity, and availability using enterprise monitoring tools.
• Troubleshoot database incidents, performance bottlenecks, and system issues, ensuring timely resolution within service level commitments.
• Support database patching, upgrades, migrations, and ongoing maintenance activities while adhering to security and operational standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Database Administration.
• Proven experience in setting up and configuring Oracle databases in enterprise environments.
• Experience implementing and managing Hardware Security Module (HSM) solutions.
• Experience with Oracle High Availability (HA) architectures and solutions.
• Strong experience in backup onboarding, backup administration, recovery planning, and disaster recovery processes.
• Experience with database monitoring, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and operational support.
• Knowledge of database security, encryption technologies, and access management controls.

• Oracle Database certifications.
• Experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, ASM, and backup technologies such as RMAN.
• Experience supporting Linux/Unix environments.
• Knowledge of scripting and automation using Shell, Python, or similar tools.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise database environments.
