What would you do? • You will be aligned with our Finance Operations vertical and will be helping us in determining financial outcomes by collecting operational data reports, whilst conducting analysis and reconciling transactions. • A type of general ledger account which contains a summary of sub-ledger accounts. • Because the reconciliation account only provides a summary, no transactions are directly posted to the account.
What are we looking for? • • Finance Processes • • General ledger accounting, journals, accruals, prepayments, trial balance and financial statement fundamentals • • US GAAP, SOX controls, segregation of duties, audit evidence and accounting-policy compliance • Systems Knowledge (preferred) • • Exposure to Yardi or Oracle ERP • Industry Experience (preferred) • • Experience in Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs)
Roles and Responsibilities: • •• In this role, you are required to solve routine problems, largely through precedent and referral to general guidelines • • Your expected interactions are within your team and direct supervisor • • Prepare, validate and post standard journals with complete support, correct coding and documented approvals. • • Perform account analysis, investigate unusual balances and support variance commentary and management reporting inputs. • • Execute assigned SOX controls and maintain complete evidence, process records and key-report documentation. • • Monitor quality and timeliness, resolve routine exceptions and identify standardization, automation and control improvements; specific KPI targets • Please note that this role may require you to work in rotational shifts
