What would you do? Risk Engineering provides guidance on risk mitigation for multiple disciplines and occupancies. The objective is to enable global property underwriters to make more informed underwriting decisions. The team performs the risk assessment of various commercial and industrial occupancies from a property insurance loss prevention perspective in support of global Account Engineers and Underwriters. The types of risks include a large variety of commercial as well as industrial manufacturing occupancies, including occupancies with complex risks that require a high degree of technical expertise, catering to industrial domains such as oil and gas, power generation, construction, mining and related industries, offshore oil rigs, chemicals, and pharmaceuticals. • Oil & Gas Operations • Oil & Gas Maintenance & Inspection • Pharmaceuticals • Loss Pevention • Risk Engineering • Property & Casualty Insurance • Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) • Industrial Process Safety
What are we looking for? Perform risk assessments on variety of facilities within Oil & Chemical space such as Oil Refineries, Oil Terminals, Natural Gas Processing, Natural Gas Liquids, Batch Chemicals, Pharmaceutical etc. from an Insurance Loss Prevention perspective in support of Global Account Engineers and Underwriters.
Roles and Responsibilities: • Desktop Risk Assessment for all kind of Occupancies mentioned above • Account review on simpler occupancies such as tank terminals and pipelines • NatCat Analysis • Flood Loss Estimates for exposed locations using proprietary tools • Create Fire Loss Estimate profile • Capture account loss history and report on loss trends and mitigation strategies
