We are seeking an experienced Lead Application Maintenance Support Engineer with strong expertise in Node.js or Java, along with Front-End technologies. The ideal candidate should not only have deep technical skills in debugging and problem resolution but also the ability to guide junior members, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and ensure stable and reliable application operations.

Responsibilities

→Act as a senior point of contact for major application development, application maintenance and production support activities.
→Lead the resolution of complex incidents, performance issues, and outages, ensuring minimal business impact.
→Perform detailed root cause analysis (RCA) and drive permanent solutions for recurring problems.
→Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
→Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality of delivery , seamless deployments and system stability.
→Review and improve existing monitoring, logging, and alerting mechanisms.
→Ensure compliance with SLAs, escalation protocols, and stakeholder communication.
→Work flexibly across rotational shifts and provide leadership during critical support windows.

5-8 years of experience in application development /maintenance with strong exposure to production systems.
Hands-on expertise in Node.js or Java.
Solid understanding of frontend frameworks (React, Angular, or similar).
Strong debugging and performance tuning skills across application layers.
Proficiency in data troubleshooting.
Experience with APIs, microservices, and web-based applications.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.
Exposure to monitoring and logging tools (Splunk, ELK, New Relic, Grafana, Prometheus).
Excellent communication and leadership skills to handle escalations and stakeholder updates.

5-8 years of experience in application development /maintenance with strong exposure to production systems.
