Strategy Consultant (GN) - Cost & Profitability Reinvention (C&PR)

- Join our Strategy practice as part of Cost & Profitability Reinvention team and play a key role in shaping the future of leading organizations.
- Work with global clients across industries to redesign cost structures, optimize end-to-end value chains, and improve capital deployment.
- Drive profitability and productivity interventions at strategic and operational levels – often directly engaging with C-level executives to reconfigure performance models.
- Lead or support enterprise reinvention initiatives by applying C&PR principles, driving structural cost resets, SG&A optimization, and AI-enabled operating model redesign.
- Formulate growth and transformation strategies by leveraging diagnostics, benchmarking, and advanced analytics, and contribute to M&A efforts including due diligence and post-merger integration.
- Embed digital, automation, and AI-driven tools into transformation roadmaps – including data visualization, predictive analytics, and decision augmentation.
- Address sustainability-linked cost transformation, integrating ESG, circularity, and climate impact metrics into business cases and transformation design.
- Collaborate in multinational, interdisciplinary teams, co-developing client-facing strategies while building Accenture’s intellectual capital and reusable assets.
- Structure and deliver executive-level presentations, effectively communicating strategic recommendations, insights, and implementation pathways.
- Contribute to internal innovation and solution development efforts in cost reinvention assets, methods, and capability building.
- Build and manage client relationships and provide relevant insights and experience related to business strategy development.
- Create high-impact deliverables such as C-suite presentations, strategic roadmaps, and action-oriented playbooks.
Strategy Consulting – previous experience in Cost & Profitability Reinvention, cost optimization, or ZBB and preferably at least one or more of the following areas: Industry Strategy (e.g., Resources, Life Sciences, Consumer Goods, Financial Services, Defense, etc.), Corporate Strategy & Growth, Operating Model & Organization Design, Transaction Advisory (M&A) or Sustainability.
- A strong academic background with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, economics, engineering, or related fields; an MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- 4+ years of relevant professional experience in strategy consulting or relevant industry roles. In selected cases, the target role or level may be adjusted based on relevant experience and skills exceeding this requirement.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn complex data and insights into clear recommendations.
- Curiosity and drive to work across different strategy topics - whether growth, operating models, cost transformation, transactions, industry-specific challenges, or sustainability.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with confidence in engaging senior stakeholders and diverse teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects or workstreams, delivering high-quality outcomes under tight timelines.
- Familiarity with strategy frameworks, consulting methodologies, and digital/AI-enabled approaches to solving business challenges.
- A collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills, able to thrive in multicultural and cross-border teams.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required; German and other European languages are highly valued.
- Flexibility to travel and work on client sites when needed, embracing the variety and dynamism of strategy consulting.
