We are seeking a Workday Financials Analyst/Consultant to support the ongoing configuration, enhancement, and maintenance of Workday Financial Management modules. The successful candidate will partner with finance stakeholders to assess business requests, configure financial modules, and drive testing cycles through to production deployment.

Responsibilities

→Assess and analyze incoming business requests against current Workday Financials configuration (e.g. Core Financials, Procurement, Financial Reporting, or related modules as assigned)
→Translate finance business requirements into system configuration and functional specifications
→Manage requests related to financial processes, and reporting through the full lifecycle — intake, impact assessment, prioritization, build, testing, and deployment
→Support financial business process configuration, and approval workflow changes
→Conduct configuration testing, SIT, and support UAT with finance business users
→Prepare functional documentation, configuration workbooks, and test evidence
→Track and report on request status, and resolution progress

Requirements

Hands-on experience configuring Workday Financial Management modules
Solid understanding of core accounting/finance processes (GL, AP, AR, procurement, or financial reporting)
Experience working with business process configuration, security groups, and calculated fields
Ability to write clear functional specifications and test scripts
Strong analytical skills with attention to financial data accuracy
Experience working in large, complex environments preferred

Workday Financials certification(s)
Experience with Workday financial reporting tools (Composite Reporting, matrix reports)

Exposure to governance and prioritization processes in a large program environment
