We are accepting applications for the following position:
Responsibilities
~2 min read- →Full ownership of operations, hiring, scheduling, budgeting, and customer experience
- →Create/Manage/Maintain vendor relationships with housekeeping companies, linen/laundry vendors, maintenance workers, handymen, plumbers, etc.
- →Manage and inventory all the key systems.
- →Prepare and present business summary reports for the Board of Directors & ownership.
- →Carry out sales calls /sales activities in order to capture new clients. Ensure any maintenance or repairs are scheduled around workload, and ensure units are to standards after any maintenance
- →Communicate daily with the corporate team regarding product/process needs and setting strategies for you and your team
- →Manage production environment within budgetary parameters
- →Manage the Maintenance and Engineering Department assuring scope of responsibilities are met
- →Maintain communication channels with Service Department, Maintenance Department, Administration and Sales
- →Maintain and implement best practices of standard operating procedures
- →Manage and oversee staff ensuring they are providing outstanding customer service
- →Ensure that proper security procedures are in place to protect employees, guests and company assets
- →Enforce safety, sanitary practices and maintenance to ensure compliance with health and safety laws
- →Develop and coordinate long-range and annual business plans.
- →Direct the work of all department managers and work with department heads to schedule and supervise staffing.
- →Develop and maintain a sound organizational structure and implement sound operating policies.
- →Establish personnel policies; ensure proper hiring, training, supervising, personal development and corrective action in accordance with fair labor standards, safety and established policy work with Chief engineer to develop and execute the capital expenditure program
- →Ensure customer satisfaction and expectations are met
- →Develop and administer various employee training programs
Requirements
~1 min read- Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in laundry plant management, prior General Management experience preferred
- Industrial laundry or medical linen processing experience strongly preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Knowledge of financial systems
- Flexible schedule
- Ability to work in a faced paced, high-pressure environment to meet all customer expectations
