Job Summary The Regional Home Care Manager is the most senior member of the Ohio Home Care team. The Regional Home Care Manager provides leadership; training and oversight related to home care practices in accordance with state regulations, payer requirements. In collaboration with the Ohio Regional Director, the Regional Home Care Manager identifies and drives Ohio Home Care’s strategic initiatives, building strong working relationships with SSAs and the communities at large with an eye on growth. The Regional Home Care Manager partners with the local staff and company leadership to effectively manage and grow the home care operations as well as the quality, compliance and training activities within the region.   Job Responsibilities Manages a team of Home Care DSPs that support regional home care operations. Lead and support strategy for key growth and performance indicators including admissions, referrals, recruitment, new hires, employee engagement, customer satisfaction. Conducts personnel selection, hiring practices, ongoing supervision, training, and termination in accordance with applicable laws and policies of the company and federal regulations. Secures appropriate relationships to enhance business operations. Works closely with marketing team to carry out strategic plan for growth and targets for new referrals/business. Leads the home care teams by developing best practices and directing performance improvement initiatives, implementing and monitoring compliance to company policy and procedures Provides oversight to day-to-day operations focused on risk management and staff training to improve field competencies, education, and performance. Participates in the internal audit plan; conducts compliance audits, creates reports and develops corrective action plans. Designs quality improvement systems and procedures to achieve deficiency free audits.   Key Qualifications Minimum three (3) years of leadership experience in a health care setting, managing in Home Care preferred. Marketing /Sales/ Community Relations experience preferred. Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships Proven leadership skills and ability to influence across functions Demonstrated ability to solve problems and implement solutions collaboratively. Strategic thinker with strong attention to detail Solid understanding of regulatory affairs. High impact communication skills:  both written and verbal Self-starter with a strong ability to prioritize, meet tight deadlines and manage time effectively. Strong technical skills.
