Vet-Owned. People-First.
AcutePet Urgent Care is redefining how urgent veterinary care is delivered.
Since opening in July 2024, our West Chester team has quickly become a trusted resource for pet families and local veterinarians. That growth is driven by a strong clinical culture and a real need for thoughtful, accessible urgent care. As demand continues to build, we’re expanding and looking for veterinarians who want to practice high-quality medicine in a model designed for both clinical excellence and personal sustainability.
We deliver emergency-level care in an urgent care setting. That means meaningful cases, strong diagnostics, and real impact - without overnights or the intensity of traditional 24/7 ER schedules.
This role may be a strong fit for:
Emergency veterinarians seeking a shift from overnight or high-acuity ER
Experienced general practitioners ready to expand their scope
Early-career DVMs interested in urgent care with structured mentorship
- Doctors who value autonomy alongside collaborative support
Why West Chester?
West Chester is one of the fastest-growing communities in Southwest Ohio, located just north of Cincinnati.
The area offers:
Top-rated schools and family-friendly neighborhoods
A strong local economy and business community
Access to parks, trails, and outdoor recreation
Proximity to downtown Cincinnati’s dining, arts, and professional sports
A population of engaged pet owners who prioritize accessible care
The continued growth of the region has increased demand for thoughtful, affordable urgent care - making this hospital an essential resource for both pet families and surrounding primary care practices.
AcutePet is a veterinarian-owned organization built by professionals who understand the realities of modern veterinary medicine.
Our leadership includes experienced DVMs, Managing Veterinarians, and a board-certified criticalist serving as Chief Medical Officer. Operational leaders bring direct veterinary hospital experience to ensure teams are supported, not strained.
We prioritize:
Clinical standards without corporate rigidity
Mentorship without micromanagement
