Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to join our Information Security team. The ideal candidate will need to have experience in enterprise environments, strong technical and team-leading background in security domains such as, but not limited to:

• Communications and Network security
• Cyber Defense Operations
• Vulnerability assessments and Offensive operations

The role also requires broad security expertise to support existing solutions and drive continuous improvement, while contributing to established security policies and procedures, demonstrating the ability to design, document, implement and optimize security architectures.

The role includes participation in projects related to both IT and, to a lesser extent, OT environments (industrial/critical infrastructure), aiming to support a unified security approach.

• →Lead the technical direction and day-to-day technical activities of the Cybersecurity team.
• →Design and implement security architectures (network, security, endpoint).
• →Manage and drive optimization of security solutions (SIEM, SOAR, NGFW, EDR/XDR, etc).
• →Act as a technical escalation point during incidents.
• →Support compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIS2, GDPR).
• →Contribute to projects related to IT/OT security convergence.
• →Prepare technical documentation and proposals.
• →Monitor team KPIs and SLAs.
• →Contribute/improve to existing technical playbooks/runbooks.
• →Improve cross-team collaboration and resource management, ensuring effective resource allocation.

• →Bachelor’s/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• →4–6 years of professional experience in Cybersecurity, with proven experience in technical leadership and team coordination.
• →Experience leading cybersecurity teams or technical activities, including cross-team collaboration and resource coordination.
• →Hands-on experience with network security technologies (Firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS) and endpoint security solutions (EDR/XDR).
• →Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, routing & switching, and Linux/Windows systems.
• →Experience with security vendors such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, or similar.
• →Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• →Ability to work in demanding IT/OT environments and adapt to new technologies.

• Basic understanding of OT/ICS environments and industrial protocols (e.g., Modbus, OPC).
• Experience with Threat detection platforms (e.g., Nozomi Networks).
• Previous involvement in critical infrastructure or industrial security projects.
• Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) certification will be considered a plus.
• Active 27001:22 Lead Auditor certification.
• Active certifications both in networking and cybersecurity from well-known vendors.
