We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented, and motivated Mohs Medical Assistant to join our surgical team. If you're passionate about patient care, enjoy working in a fast-paced clinical environment, and want to gain specialized experience in dermatologic surgery, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do
As a Mohs Medical Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting our surgical team and guiding patients through their treatment journey.
Primary Responsibilities
Assist with Mohs surgery procedures, surgical excisions, and other dermatologic surgeries
Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and supplies while maintaining sterile technique
Assist physicians in delivering high-quality patient care
Obtain and document patient medical histories and vital signs
Secure appropriate surgical consents and documentation
Educate patients regarding procedures and post-operative care instructions
Call in prescriptions and coordinate medication requests as directed
Perform post-operative patient follow-up calls
Schedule surgeries and coordinate patient care needs
Maintain accurate and complete electronic medical records
Ensure patients receive an exceptional experience from check-in through follow-up care
Additional Responsibilities
Assist with patient flow and clinic operations as needed
Room patients and prepare them for treatment
Support front-office functions when necessary
Maintain cleanliness, infection control, and safety standards throughout the clinic
What We're Looking For
Preferred Qualifications
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, NCMA, or equivalent)
Previous Mohs, dermatology, or surgical experience
Experience assisting with procedures and sterile technique
Candidates with Experience in the Following Specialties Are Strongly Encouraged to Apply
Dermatology
Plastic Surgery
Ophthalmology
Oral Surgery
ENT (Ear, Nose & Throat)
General Surgery
Other procedural or surgical specialties
Required Qualifications
Knowledge of vital signs and basic clinical procedures
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical setting
Commitment to teamwork and excellent patient care
Positive attitude and strong attention to detail
