The Registered Nurse is a vital member of the System of Care.  The Registered Nurse is responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of persons served/clients as they go through the rehabilitation process.

• Active license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Kentucky 
• 2 or more years of experience as a Registered Nurse preferred
• Substance abuse experience preferred

• →Conducts Nursing Assessments and monitoring of clients
• →Member of the Treatment Team.
• →Handles the medication management; trains staff on medication dispensing.
• →Ensures Universal Precautions of the center.
• →Facilitates Health Education groups including General Health Education, Medication/Drug Interactions.
• →Observe and assess clients for clinical signs and symptoms and follow the prescribed course of treatment.
• →Determines and implements specific protocol as designated by the Doctor.
• →The Nurse is expected to protect the privacy of all client information in accordance with Addiction Recovery Care, LLC/ Odyssey, Inc.’s privacy policies, procedures and practices, as required by federal and state law, and in accordance with the general principle of professionalism as a health care provider. 
• →Maintain a respectful relationship with clients.
• →Maintain confidentiality at all times displaying a professional disposition towards fellow staff.
• →Maintain a positive working relationship with staff and consumers alike.
• →Bring policy/personnel issues to supervision as they arise.
• →Ability to interact with a multi-disciplinary team to assist in facets of the recovery program relating to physical health.
• →Have the ability to communicate with the Case Manager and assist in ensuring the safety of the client.
• →Flexibility to adapt to schedule changes and assumption of responsibilities not delineated in the job description which is related to work as a member of an addiction treatment team.
• →Attention to detail and organization a must.
• →Computer literate with experience in a Windows environment.
• →Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• →Ability to prioritize work and work-related responsibilities
