Caregivers do not require prior experience or certifications, only the willingness and ability to help others in their daily lives with the help of a written care plan.

Arcadia HomeCare offers a variety of training to our Caregivers via in-person, phone, or video. The different training methods allow us to provide our caregivers with the most meaningful and beneficial training possible.

• →Assisting with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
• →Home support (light housekeeping, vacuuming, dusting, washing dishes)
• →Light meal prep and serving meals
• →Accompanying the consumer to appointments when approved
• →Grocery shopping, or other errands when approved
• →Providing companionship and stimulation for the consumer (reading, walks)

• Must complete the agency's employment process
• Criminal background check
• Reliable transportation
• Reliable, self-motivated, and well-organized
• Must exhibit maturity, responsible behavior, & maintain consumer confidentiality
• Must be able to follow directions and work as a team
• 3 references (2 professional, 1 personal)
