American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreters

Adelphi is seeking American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreters to provide in-person interpretation services in school settings in Kissimmee, Florida. Providers will support communication for deaf and hard-of-hearing students during classroom instruction, meetings, and school events. Responsibilities • Interpret spoken English into ASL to support classroom instruction and communication. • Provide interpretation for parent/teacher meetings, other meetings, performances, graduations, and special events. • Coordinate assignments with school staff and follow approved schedules and directions. • Arrive in the assigned classroom before the bell; promptly report delays and coordinate absences or early departures with Adelphi. • Maintain student confidentiality, professional attire, required identification, and compliance with school safety procedures. • Perform other duties as assigned.
