JOB OVERVIEW Job Id: Y-MD-3474171 Profession: Physician Specialty: Cardiology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Ronceverte, WV Coverage Type: Clinical + Call Coverage Period: Nov 02, 2026 – May 03, 2027 Clinical Shift Schedule: Mon – Fri, 8:00 – 4:30 Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Travel covered by client PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Adults (18+) Patient Volume/Census: 22-24 patients per day Case Mix: Cardiology, Cardiac diagnostics and procedures PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Temporary Privileges Available: Yes REQUIRED PROCEDURES EKGs and EKG interpretation Holter monitor placements Pacemaker checks Treadmill stress tests Nuclear stress testing TEEs (Transesophageal Echocardiograms) Cardioversions Cardiac risk assessment Evaluation and management of new/established patients JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active WV license; Universal License (IMLC) accepted DEA: DEA required Certifications: CSR required Experience: Minimum 2 years in Cardiology DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Evaluate and manage new and established cardiology patients. Perform and interpret EKGs, holter monitor placements, and pacemaker checks. Supervise and interpret treadmill stress tests and nuclear stress testing. Perform TEEs and cardioversions. Provide 24-hour call coverage for hospital consults and emergencies.
