PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Adults Rounding: Yes Case Mix: General GI, Endoscopy FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Epic PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes Credentialing Timeline: 90 days REQUIRED PROCEDURES Upper and lower endoscopies Colonoscopies General GI procedures Daily rounding Add-on cases as needed JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active MA license Board: BC in Gastroenterology DEA: Required Certifications: BLS Experience: Minimum 1 year Other Qualifications: Name and NPI required for clearance DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Round each morning on GI patients Perform upper and lower endoscopies Perform colonoscopies Handle general GI procedures and add-on cases Provide night call coverage Monday–Thursday (second call with PA support) Optional weekend call coverage (Fri 3:00 PM – Mon 7:00 AM)
