JOB OVERVIEW Job Id: A-MD-72046 Profession: Physician Specialty: Hematology & Oncology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Pendleton, OR Service Setting: Outpatient Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: Jan 01, 2027 – Ongoing Shift Schedule: Mon – Thu, 8a – 5p Reason for Coverage: Provider Retirement Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance Covered PATIENT INFORMATION Average Daily Volume: 15-18 Case Mix: Oncology, Hematology FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: ECW (EClinical Works) and Meditech Support Staff Available: ARNP, Nurses PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Credentialing Timeline: 30 days REQUIRED PROCEDURES Bone marrow biopsies JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: Board Certified Medical Oncology or Truly Board Eligible (0-5 years); Board Certified Hematology Highly Preferred Licenses: Active OR License (Highly Preferred; accepts IMLC, must obtain during credentialing) DEA: Active DEA Certification (required during credentialing) Certifications: BLS required Experience: Post-residency experience preferred (0-5 years) Duties & Responsibilities Provide direct hospital-based outpatient care to hematology/oncology patients. Serve as chemotherapy program director/provider. Perform bone marrow biopsies. Manage outpatient consults (1-3 per week). Collaborate with support staff (ARNP, nurses).
