JOB OVERVIEW Job Id: Y-MD-3503437 Profession: Physician Specialty: Interventional Cardiology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Cottonwood, AZ Service Setting: Hospital/Clinic Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: Jan 25, 2027 – Apr 26, 2027 Clinical Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 5:30 PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Geriatrics Patient Volume/Census: Clinic: 18-24 patients/day; Hospital consults: 8-14/day; TEES: 1-2/day Case Mix: Cardiology, STEMI FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Cerner Support Staff Available: MA, PCT, Nurse, PA support for inhouse Reason for Coverage: Ongoing coverage need PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Credentialing Timeline: 30 days REQUIRED PROCEDURES Cardiology consultations TEES (Transesophageal Echocardiography) STEMI management JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active AZ license Board: Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology Certifications: ACLS, BLS Experience: Minimum 2 years in interventional cardiology Other Qualifications: Interpersonal and relational skills with staff and patients DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide interventional cardiology coverage including STEMI management and cardiology consults. Perform TEES (Transesophageal Echocardiography) as needed (1-2 per day). Conduct hospital consultations (8-14 per day). See clinic patients (18-24 per day) in the Cardiovascular Institute. Collaborate with support staff including MAs, PCTs, Nurses, and PAs.
