JOB OVERVIEW • Job Title: Interventional Radiology • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Location: Cooperstown, NY • Service Setting: Hospital • Coverage Type: Clinical Only • Coverage Period: ASAP – Ongoing • Clinical Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM COVERAGE DATES • Start Date: ASAP • End Date: Ongoing Until Full-Time Hire PATIENT INFORMATION • Patient Demographics: Adults and Geriatrics • Patient Volume/Census: 5–8 Patients Per Day • Case Mix: 60% Interventional Radiology / 40% Diagnostic Radiology FACILITY INFORMATION • EMR System: Epic • Office Equipment Available: Phillips Angio Suites Preferred Experience • Specialty Backup Available: Interventional and Diagnostic Radiology Physicians • Support Staff Available: Radiology Department Staff PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes COMPENSATION & BENEFITS • Rate: TBD • Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered REQUIRED PROCEDURES • Biopsies • Drainages • Tube Placements • Line Placements • Nephrostomies • Biliary Drainages • Arterial Angiograms Preferred JOB REQUIREMENTS • Active New York Medical License • Board Certified in Radiology • Active DEA (Preferred) • ACLS Required (BLS Not Required if ACLS Active) • Interventional Radiology Experience • Other Qualifications: Epic Training Required; Experience with Phillips Angio Suites Preferred; Onsite Coverage Only – No Remote Reading DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Perform Interventional Radiology Procedures • Interpret Diagnostic Imaging Studies Including X-Ray, CT, and Ultrasound • Evaluate and Manage Patients Requiring Image-Guided Interventions • Collaborate with Referring Physicians and Clinical Teams • Complete Accurate and Timely Documentation in Epic • Provide High-Quality Patient Care in an Onsite Hospital Setting
