JOB OVERVIEW Job Id: H-MD-130097 Profession: Physician Specialty: Vascular & Interventional Radiology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Cooperstown, New York Coverage Period: Aug 03, 2026 – Ongoing Shift Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Hours Per Shift: 8 hours Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered PATIENT INFORMATION Average Daily Volume: 5 to 8 patients per day Case Mix: 80% IR / 20% DX FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Epic Specialty Backup Available: Other IR/DX physicians REQUIRED PROCEDURES Biopsy Drainage Tube placement Line placement Nephrostomies Biliary drainages Arterial angiograms (if possible) JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: Board Certified Licenses: Active New York medical license Certifications: ACLS required Other Qualifications: EPIC training required; Experience with Phillips angio suites preferred DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide interventional radiology coverage on-site, including biopsies, drainages, tube placements, line placements, nephrostomies, biliary drainages, and arterial angiograms. Perform diagnostic radiology interpretation as needed (20% DX component). Utilize imaging modalities including X-ray, CT, and Ultrasound. Work collaboratively with other IR/DX physicians and support staff. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Epic EMR system.
