JOB OVERVIEW Job Id: Y-MD-3531610 Profession: Physician Specialty: Radiology Mammography Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: York, PA Service Setting: Hospital-affiliated outpatient breast imaging center Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: Feb 01, 2027 – May 03, 2027 Clinical Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, day shift, no evenings/weekends/holidays COVERAGE DATES PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Adult female patients Patient Volume/Census: Variable, depending on screening, diagnostic, and procedural volumes Case Mix: Breast imaging cases (screening, diagnostic, interventional) FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Epic Support Staff Available: Mammography and ultrasound technologists, breast imaging navigators, LPNs, and RNs PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Temporary Privileges Available: Yes, for urgent needs only Credentialing Timeline: 90 days REQUIRED PROCEDURES Stereotactic and tomosynthesis-guided breast biopsies Ultrasound-guided breast biopsies MRI-guided breast biopsies Image-guided breast needle localizations Screening and diagnostic mammography Breast ultrasound Breast MRI interpretation Image-guided breast procedures JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Pennsylvania medical license or IMLC (Universal License) Board: American Board of Radiology (ABR) Certified in Diagnostic Radiology DEA: Required Certifications: BLS Experience: Breast imaging fellowship training or equivalent experience in comprehensive breast imaging; must be comfortable independently interpreting breast MRI and performing image-guided breast procedures DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Interpret screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI Perform image-guided breast biopsies (stereotactic, tomosynthesis, ultrasound, MRI-guided) Conduct image-guided breast needle localizations Provide contrast-enhanced mammography (CEM) interpretation (willingness to learn accepted) Collaborate with support staff including technologists, navigators, LPNs, and RNs to deliver comprehensive breast imaging services
