JOB OVERVIEW Profession: Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant Specialty: Hematology & Oncology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Minneapolis, MN Service Setting: Hospital Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: Sep 14, 2026 – Dec 14, 2026 Clinical Shift Schedule: Mon – Fri, 8a – 4:30p PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: All ages Patient Volume/Census: 11-16 patients per day FACILITY INFORMATION No. of Beds in Department: 686 EMR System: EPIC Support Staff Available: Yes Reason for Coverage: Building bone marrow practice PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Temporary Privileges Available: Yes Credentialing Timeline: 60-90 days REQUIRED PROCEDURES Inpatient hematology services JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: MN license Board: Board Certified PA or APP Certifications: BLS, ACLS Experience: Experience with benign and malignant hematology patients required Other Qualifications: Knowledge of bone marrow practice preferred DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide inpatient hematology/oncology care Manage a patient census of 11-16 patients per day Collaborate with support staff and other APPs on the inpatient side Focus on hematology inpatient services, including benign and malignant cases Support the development of the bone marrow practice
