JOB OVERVIEW • Job Title: Neonatology • Job Type: Permanent • Location: Kansas City, MO • Service Setting: Inpatient • Coverage Type: Clinical + Call • Work Schedule: TBD • Call Type: Shared Call PATIENT INFORMATION • Patient Demographics: Premature & critically ill newborns • Patient Volume: 30 daily • Admissions: 450 (annual; NICU) • Rounding included: Yes • Phone Consults: As Needed • Case Mix: High-acuity NICU & advanced neonatal therapies FACILITY INFORMATION • No of Beds: 49-bed Level III-B NICU - 15-bed Level III-A NICU, growing Level II NICU, and Well-Baby Units • Support Staff: BC Neonatologists and 24/7 NNPs support • Telehealth-supported neonatal coverage model REQUIRED PROCEDURES/DUTIES • Inhaled nitric oxide (iNO) • High-frequency oscillatory ventilation (HFOV) • High-frequency jet ventilation (HFJV) • Therapeutic hypothermia • Management of ELGAN infants including 22-week gestation neonates JOB REQUIREMENTS • Active MO License • BC/BE • DEA • Clean Record (highly preferred) • Must have Neonatology experience COMPENSATION & BENEFITS • Competitive salary (based on experience) • Generous sign-on bonus • Relocation assistance • Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance • Life and Disability insurance • Healthcare FSA and Dependent Care FSA • Health Savings Account (HSA) options • 401(k) retirement plan • Employee Stock Purchase Program • Additional voluntary benefits
