JOB OVERVIEW Job Id: A-CRNA-67071 Profession: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist Specialty: CRNA - General Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Jackson, MI Service Setting: Inpatient Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: ASAP – Ongoing Shift Schedule: Days, 8-10 hour shifts, Monday or Friday required each week Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Malpractice Covered PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Pediatric to Geriatric Average Daily Volume: 50 cases per day Case Mix: General Surgery, Neurosurgery, Spine FACILITY INFORMATION Trauma Level: Level II EMR System: Epic PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Credentialing Timeline: 90-120 days REQUIRED PROCEDURES Administer anesthesia for general surgical procedures (adult and pediatric) Provide anesthesia care for neurosurgical cases Perform spinal anesthesia and local infiltration Manage ventilation and monitor respiratory status Deliver anesthesia under direct supervision JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: Board Certified CRNA Licenses: Active MI License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS (AHA) Experience: Minimum 1 year CRNA experience Other Qualifications: Availability for minimum 32 hours/week, Monday or Friday weekly; Clean background Duties & Responsibilities Administer anesthesia for general surgical procedures for both adult and pediatric patients Provide anesthesia care for neurosurgical cases, ensuring proper management of neurological status pre- and post-procedure Perform spinal anesthesia and local infiltration anesthesia as required by surgical procedures Manage ventilation and monitor respiratory status throughout the surgical process Deliver anesthesia under direct supervision in a collaborative environment with anesthesiologists and surgical teams
