Pleasant, MI Service Setting: Inpatient Coverage Type: Clinical + Call Coverage Period: Sep 25, 2026 – Jan 02, 2027 Call Schedule: 24-Hour Call (every 5th week) Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Malpractice Covered; Travel and Lodging Not Covered PATIENT INFORMATION Average Daily Volume: 4 deliveries per day Case Mix: OB/GYN FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Cerner Support Staff Available: 2 APPs REQUIRED PROCEDURES Low risk pregnancy Vaginal deliveries C-sections Repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations VBAC OB Ultrasound Amniocentesis JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: BC Licenses: MI Experience: Min 2 years in OBGYN Other Qualifications: Local candidate preferred; NPDB within last 30 days; Submit rates at name clear Duties & Responsibilities Provide 24/7 hospital coverage for Labor & Delivery, Emergency Department, and surgical needs. Perform vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations. Manage low-risk pregnancies and perform OB ultrasound and amniocentesis. Participate in call coverage every 5th week of the month. Provide clinic consults for emergent cases to determine need for hospital admission.
