JOB OVERVIEW Job Id: Y-MD-3472489 Profession: Physician Specialty: Otolaryngology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Ephrata, PA Service Setting: Clinic and Hospital Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: Oct 26, 2026 – Jan 25, 2027 Clinical Shift Schedule: Clinic: 8a-4:30p, OT: 7:30a-3:30p/4p; 5 OR days and 7 clinic days per month Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: All ages (neonates to geriatrics) Patient Volume/Census: Clinic: 26-27 patients/day; Surgeries: 6/day Case Mix: General ENT, Parathyroid, Cochlear Baha FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: EPIC PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes Temporary Privileges Available: Yes (for urgent needs) Credentialing Timeline: 60 days REQUIRED PROCEDURES Required: General ENT Preferred: Parathyroid, Cochlear Baha JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active PA license or Universal License (IMLC) Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible DEA: Required Certifications: ACLS Experience: Minimum 1 year DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide outpatient clinic services (8a-4:30p, Mon-Fri) Perform surgical procedures in OR (5 days per month) Manage general ENT cases including parathyroid and Cochlear Baha Provide patient care for all ages in clinic and outpatient surgery Collaborate with support staff (medical assistants, clinical support assistants)
