JOB OVERVIEW Profession: Physician Specialty: Radiology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Mountain Home, AR Service Setting: Hospital Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: Aug 17, 2026 – Feb 15, 2027 Clinical Shift Schedule: Mon – Fri, 7a – 3p FACILITY INFORMATION No. of Beds in Department: 268 Trauma Level: Level III REQUIRED PROCEDURES CT and ultrasound guided biopsies (excluding mammo) Drain placement: renal, biliary, gastric, gallbladder and abscess (in Cath lab and CT); Biliary stents Thoracentesis and paracentesis Dialysis procedures in Cath lab Occasional peripheral and pulmonary venous thrombosis cases Rare embolization procedures: GI and other bleeding JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active AR license or willing to obtain Experience: Fellowship in IR preferred DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Perform diagnostic radiology interpretations Perform interventional radiology procedures including biopsies, drain placements, thoracentesis/paracentesis, dialysis procedures, and occasional embolizations Provide on-site coverage Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM Collaborate with hospital staff and referring physicians No call or weekend responsibilities
