Respiratory Therapist

Adelphi is seeking Respiratory Therapists to provide respiratory therapy services at a facility in Welch, West Virginia. The ideal candidates will provide comprehensive respiratory care, covering both basic and acute needs, while exemplifying a strong dedication to patient-centered care. Job Quick Facts: • Ref#: BD-1227-01 • Profession: Respiratory Therapist • Location: Welch, West Virginia • Facility Type: Hospital • Job Type: Contract • Contract Term: Potential for a long term contract • Schedule: 10 and 12 hour shifts • Start Date: TBC • Rate: $50/hr Requirements: • Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy from a COARC approved school • Current West Virginia State License for Respiratory Therapy • CPR Certification • ACLS • PALS • Minimum 1 year experience in an acute care setting Responsibilities: • Administer respiratory care and life support treatments as ordered by physicians. • Provide diagnostic tests for cardiovascular and pulmonary systems to assist with diagnosis and treatment. • Ensure timely and accurate documentation of patient records into the hospital's Electronic Medical Records system (EMR). • Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities within the department. • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient care. • Monitor patients for signs of respiratory distress and intervene as needed. • Maintain adherence to hospital protocols and safety standards. • Any other duties assigned.
