Adelphi is seeking Speech Language Pathologists to provide services to students at a school district in Katy, Texas. The ideal candidates will provide services to students, in accordance with established standards of care and in compliance with applicable policies and guidelines. Job Quick Facts: • BD-1143-01 • Profession: Allied Health • Specialty : Speech Language Pathologist (CCC) • Location: Katy, Texas • Facility Type: School (Elementary, Junior High, and High school) • Job Type: Contract • Shift Schedule: Mon-Fri, Specific schedule TBC • Rate: $ 50 Requirements: • Active Texas License • Certificate of Clinical Competence or Clinical Fellowship (CF) eligible • Knowledge of Texas Speech and Hearing Association guidelines • Proven experience working with pediatric populations in school-based environment • Master's Degree in Communication Disorders or related field Responsibilities: • Conduct comprehensive assessments and re-evaluations that shape individualized therapy plans. • Engage individual and group therapy sessions that empower students to find their voice. • Support communication growth by addressing expressive/receptive language, fluency, articulation, and social-pragmatic skills. • Innovate with Augmentative and Alternative Communication strategies, designing and implementing tools and approaches that open new pathways for communication. • Train teachers, staff, and families to use practical strategies that foster communication success across environments. • Any other duties as assigned.
