JOB OVERVIEW • Job Title: Urology • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Location: Topeka, KS • Service Setting: Hospital and Outpatient • Coverage Type: Clinical + Call (Optional) • Coverage Period: Aug 2 - Nov 1, 2026 • Shift Schedule: 8am- 5pm - 3 Clinic Days - 2 OR Days Per Week • Call Schedule: TBD; Rotation • Call Type: Shared Call • Call Ratio: Approximately 1:6 if Participating in Call Rotation PATIENT INFORMATION • Patient Demographics: Adult Urology Patients • Patient Volume/Census: 25–30 Clinic Patients Per Day; 5-6 Surgeries on OR days • Admissions: As Required • Rounding: Included as Needed • Phone Consults: Supported by Nurse Triage Team • Case Mix: General Urology, Robotic Urology, and Pelvic Floor Reconstruction FACILITY INFORMATION • EMR System: Epic • Office Equipment Available: da Vinci Xi Robotic Surgical System • Specialty Backup Available: Hospital-Based Multispecialty Support • Support Staff Available: 24-Hour Nurse Triage Service and Established Urology Team PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes • Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 90 Days COMPENSATION & BENEFITS • Rate: TBD • Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered REQUIRED PROCEDURES • Robotic Urologic Surgery • Pelvic Floor Reconstruction • General Urologic Surgical Procedures JOB REQUIREMENTS • Active Medical License Required • Board Eligible Required; Board Certified Preferred • Active DEA • Board Eligibility or Board Certification in Urology • Experience: Robotic Surgery Experience Required • Other Qualifications: Robotic Training Required; Pelvic Floor Reconstruction Experience Strongly Preferred; Ability to Work in Both Clinic and Operating Room Settings DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide outpatient urology clinic coverage • Perform robotic and general urologic surgical procedures • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat urologic conditions • Participate in shared hospital call coverage as assigned • Document patient care activities within Epic EMR
