JOB OVERVIEW Job Id: Y-MD-3503809 Profession: Physician Specialty: Urology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Chambersburg, PA Service Setting: Hospital Coverage Type: Clinical + Call Coverage Period: Dec 21, 2026 – Mar 22, 2027 Clinical Shift Schedule: 24-hour coverage (hospital/surgery) On-Call Shift Schedule: Phone consults from Gettysburg, Waynesboro, Fulton County Medical Center as needed Call Type: Phone/Beeper Callback Rate: 10-12 hours per day PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: All urologic patients Phone Consults: Required Case Mix: Urology FACILITY INFORMATION No. of Beds in Department: 76 EMR System: EPIC Support Staff Available: None Reason for Coverage: PRN coverage (once every 12-14 weeks) PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes Temporary Privileges Available: Yes, for urgent needs with clean file Credentialing Timeline: 90 days (temporary privileges available with clean file) JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active PA license or IMLC LOQ in hand Board: BC or BE in urology DEA: Yes Experience: New grads accepted Other Qualifications: Good communication skills preferred DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide 24-hour coverage for hospital and surgery urology cases See patients in Chambersburg Take phone consults from Gettysburg, Waynesboro, and Fulton County Medical Center as needed Manage all urologic patients across the health system Provide callback coverage (10-12 hours per day)
