JOB OVERVIEW Job Id: Y-MD-3532382 Profession: Physician Specialty: Urology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: York, PA Service Setting: Hospital Coverage Type: Clinical + Call Coverage Period: Nov 23, 2026 – Feb 22, 2027 On-Call Shift Schedule: 24-hour call PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Adults (18+), with occasional pediatric emergency torsion Patient Volume/Census: 24-28 patients per day Case Mix: General Urology including office visits, cystoscopy, stent procedures, and surgical procedures FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: Epic Office Equipment Available: Cystoscope and Towers, Injections PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Temporary Privileges Available: Yes, for urgent needs Credentialing Timeline: 90 days REQUIRED PROCEDURES Vasectomy Vasectomy reversal (optional) Cystoscopy Prostate procedures Ureteroscopy Penile plication Penile implants (rare) Lithotripsy Circumcision (rare on call) Orchiopexy Robotic surgery Scoping (optional) JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active PA License or Universal License (IMLC) Board: BC/BE in Urology DEA: Required Experience: Minimum 1 year in Urology DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide comprehensive urology care including office consultations, cystoscopy, stent procedures, and surgical interventions. Perform a variety of urological procedures such as vasectomy, vasectomy reversal, cystoscopy, ureteroscopy, lithotripsy, penile plication, and orchiopexy. Supervise and train new Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) as needed. Participate in 24-hour call coverage, managing emergency cases including testicular torsion. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EPIC electronic medical record system.
