Maintenance Electrician

The Maintenance Electrician plays a critical role in supporting continuous manufacturing operations within a fast-paced industrial environment. This position offers hands-on exposure to a wide range of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems while helping ensure the reliability, safety, and efficiency of production equipment. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled maintenance professional who enjoys troubleshooting complex equipment, working with advanced automation technologies, and making a direct impact on plant performance.
The ideal candidate will bring strong troubleshooting skills, experience with PLCs, VFDs, and 480V three-phase systems, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Install, maintain, and repair a broad range of electrical and mechanical systems and equipment.
- →Troubleshoot and repair electrically and mechanically driven operating systems to minimize downtime and support continuous production.
- →Read and interpret electrical schematics, including AC/DC controls and systems.
- →Work with PLC-controlled equipment and assist with diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- →Operate production equipment as needed while performing repairs to maintain continuous operations.
- →Support operating functions and collaborate with maintenance technicians and production personnel as required.
- →Work independently with minimal supervision or as part of a maintenance team based on operational needs.
- Automotive manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Strong pneumatic troubleshooting experience.
- Experience working in a machine shop environment preferred.
- PLC programming skills and formal training are a plus.
- Experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
- Ability to troubleshoot 480V three-phase motor control systems.
- Basic welding skills are a plus.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and/or Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly disciplined, safety-oriented, and detail-focused.
- Strong problem-solving ability, logical thinking, and a team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic.
