The Quality Engineer/BOS Coordinator is responsible for implementing and maintaining Business Operating Systems.
This position has direct responsibility to plan and execute Quality BOS deliverables.
BOS Quality procedure development and maintenance.
Completion and submission of customer PPAP.
Review and approval of supplied material annual PPAP’s.
Management of Layered Process Audit / 5S audit schedules, completion, and corrective action implementation.

Responsibilities

→Define BOS Objectives and obtain Quality Manager’s approval of targets.
→Lead Plant cross-functional teams to ensure that the BOS objectives are met.
→Responsible for coordinating BOS / IATF certification audits.
→Develop the process to implement, achieve and maintain BOS / IATF certification.
→Maintain Document control per BOS requirements.
→Responsible for deploying BOS Corporate document releases.
→Responsible for auditing the BOS / IATF processes and procedures on an ongoing basis.
→Responsible for training all Plant departments and teams in BOS procedures and IATF requirements.
→Responsible for providing awareness when changes and/or updates are included in BOS procedures and /or TS 16949 to all different plant teams.
→Responsible for maintaining all Plant Business operating systems document revisions.
→Quality Engineer/BOS Coordinator supports Quality Analyst responsibilities during an absence, which include but are not limited to conducting Poke Yoke Audits, Complete Seat Audits, and processing of non-conforming material.

Requirements

A high school diplomas minimum is required. Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
Candidates must demonstrate solid skills in communication, interpersonal relations, and ability to inspire individuals to improve performance.

Three (3) or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment with IATF requirement experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Organizational and administrative skills related to documentation and record keeping.
Ability to speak effectively to a group of team members or customers.
