Production Operator

Adler Pelzer Group, a growing global Tier One automotive supplier of acoustic and soft trim products, is hiring Production Operators for our manufacturing facility in Thomson, Georgia.

We are currently hiring Production Operators for the following shifts:

• Day Shift
• Afternoon Shift
• Midnight Shift

The Production Operator operates presses and other manufacturing equipment to produce acoustical and other high-quality automotive products while meeting safety, quality, production, and customer requirements.

• →Report to the production area to begin work at the scheduled start of your assigned shift.
• →Ensure all manufacturing equipment is safe to operate and all required guards and emergency stop buttons are functioning properly prior to beginning production.
• →Complete production sheets, checklists, and other required documentation.
• →Produce parts that meet required quality, quantity, packaging, and labeling standards.
• →Complete production reports hourly as required.
• →Maintain a clean and organized work area, and help keep the plant clean.
• →Work cooperatively as part of a team and assist with other assignments as needed.
• →Operate presses and other production equipment as assigned.
• →Follow company safety procedures, standardized work instructions, APPS, and Lean Manufacturing practices.
• →Work required overtime, including weekends when necessary.

• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal work instructions.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, including overhead lifting when required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
