Quality Technician - 2nd & 3rd Shift

STS Group is a globally leading supplier of components and systems for the commercial vehicle and automotive industries headquartered in France. The Adler Pelzer Group, a global Tier 1 supplier recently acquired STS group to expand its target market. STS is pioneering operations of Class A surface components for the heavy trucks in the USA. We are seeking a motivated and committed Quality Manager to help launch a manufacturing facility in Salem, Virginia. The Quality Manager ensures quality standards are met during the manufacturing process.

• →
  • →Complete Receiving Inspection per Work Instructions.
  • →Test realization of pellet specific gravity
  • →Tests realization of Melt flow rate
  • →Prepare material test reports
  • →Assurance the Check Fixture Usage
  • →Maintain Calibrations per QSI Calibration database.
  • →Provide maintenance to Check fixture devices
  • →Perform of Scrap Entry-Reporting
  • →Complete testing per Work Instructions.
  • →Completes forms, recording, evaluating and reporting quality and reliability data.
  • →Assist in training new operators to WI’s and customer specification requirements.
  • →Overtime is sometimes required which may include weekends.
  • →Adhere to ISO 14001 requirements
  • →Adhere to ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 requirements
  • →Adhere to Customer Specific requirements
  • →Execution of layered process audits
