Lead the strategy and execution for Adobe’s channel partner systems, tools, and operational processes. This role owns the roadmap across Partner MDM, partner onboarding, CRM capabilities, VIP Marketplace, and partner lifecycle processes to improve partner experience, strengthen governance, and enable scalable partner-led growth.
The Director will partner across Partner Strategy, Operations, Product, Engineering, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Analytics to translate business needs into clear requirements, prioritized roadmaps, and measurable outcomes.
- Define and manage the roadmap for channel partner and reseller systems, tools, and operational processes.
- Prioritize capabilities based on business impact, partner experience, compliance risk, and execution readiness.
- Translate business problems into clear requirements, decision points, delivery achievements, and success measures.
- Lead Partner MDM business requirements, governance model, and adoption across partner identity, hierarchy, status, and lifecycle data.
- Establish a trusted partner data foundation across CRM, VIP Marketplace, reporting, analytics, and downstream operations.
- Reduce duplicate records, manual reconciliation, inconsistent partner mapping, and unclear ownership of partner data quality.
- Simplify and scale partner onboarding, marketplace onboarding, status changes, suspension, termination, and offboarding processes.
- Clarify ownership, handoffs, controls, and operating rhythms across Legal, Compliance, Finance, Partner Ops, Product, and Engineering.
- Identify automation opportunities to reduce manual effort, exceptions, cycle time, and process friction.
- Own business requirements for partner-related CRM and VIP Marketplace capabilities, including partner visibility, partner-of-record, hierarchy, authorization status, and transaction readiness.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to close system gaps, improve controls, and strengthen operational readiness for partner-led motions.
- Ensure new capabilities are measurable, adopted, and connected to reporting, compliance, incentives, and partner operations workflows.
- Lead remediation of partner-related process, data, and tools gaps identified through audits, operational reviews, and collaborator feedback.
- Establish governance forums, benchmarks, blocking issue paths, and interim controls while longer-term system fixes are delivered.
- Create transparency on risks, dependencies, trade-offs, and progress against committed outcomes.
- Drive alignment across business, operations, product, engineering, compliance, finance, legal, and analytics teams.
- Build practical operating models, RACIs, and communication routines that help teams make decisions and complete tasks faster.
- Influence senior collaborators without relying solely on formal authority.
- Clear partner systems roadmap with prioritized business capabilities and measurable impact.
- Improved partner data quality, stronger lifecycle controls, and reduced manual reconciliation.
- Simpler, more scalable partner onboarding and status management processes.
- Reduced compliance, audit, and operational risk across partner workflows.
- Better partner experience and stronger operational readiness for partner-led growth.
Requirements
~1 min read- 12+ years of experience in business systems, partner/channel operations, sales operations, process transformation, or technology programs.
- Strong understanding of partner/reseller ecosystems, CRM platforms, partner data, onboarding, and operational governance.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional transformation from strategy through execution.
- Experience working with Product and Engineering teams to define requirements, prioritize capabilities, and land adoption.
- Strong executive communication, collaborator management, and change leadership skills.

In California, the pay range for this position is $215,600 - $312,200
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
