Sr. Director, Product Management - Data Platforms

We are looking for a visionary Senior Director of Product Management to lead product strategy for Adobe’s enterprise Data Platforms portfolio used by more than 26K employees in every function across the company. The Data Platform is one of the most strategically important foundations powering the company’s AI and agentic future!
This is a rare, high-impact opportunity to shape the intelligent data platform that powers how data is collected, governed, activated, and turned into personalized, intelligent customer experiences across Adobe. You will define the strategy and multi-year roadmap for capabilities spanning data collection, telemetry, foundational lakehouse layers, analytics, machine learning enablement, agentic development workflows, agent consumption, personalization, and enterprise-grade AI safety.
Reporting to the Vice President of Data Platforms, this role is ideal for a product leader who thrives at the intersection of deep technical platform strategy, modern AI, and outsized business impact. You will architect a trusted, scalable, multi-cloud (Azure + AWS) data foundation that is truly agent-ready.

Craft and champion the long-term product vision and strategy for Adobe’s Data Platforms.

Own a bold multi-year roadmap that dramatically improves reuse, velocity, trust, and leverage across the enterprise.

Identify highest-leverage opportunities, drive decisive prioritization, and translate complex needs into clear direction and measurable metrics.

Partner closely with engineering and architecture leaders to define direction, build prototypes, and ensure scalable technical design.

Collaborate across product, engineering, analytics, and business teams to accelerate adoption and create exponential value.

Design platform capabilities that simplify complexity and make trusted, governed data instantly accessible and actionable.

Represent the product vision with clarity and conviction to senior leaders, balancing innovation, scale, speed, and long-term health.

Build, lead, and develop a high-performing product management team, raising the bar on craft, technical depth, and influence.

Define agentic software engineering capabilities that use AI agents to automate pipelines, testing, deployment, and operations.

Lead agent-ready data access layers — including ontologies, governed catalogs, real-time context, and embedded AI safety mechanisms — so agents can responsibly act on trusted data at scale.
Requirements
~1 min read10+ years of experience managing products in cloud-native data platforms, AI/ML platforms, analytics, or agentic AI systems is required. You must have deep exposure to modern lakehouse architectures like Databricks on Azure and AWS or equivalent.
Hands-on expertise in modern data platform use cases, data engineering, AI development, real-time systems, and agentic practices.
Proven experience with AI data governance (catalogs, ontologies, lineage, access control, and responsible AI safety frameworks).
Strong understanding of modern platform architecture: telemetry, pipelines, observability, metadata, experimentation, agent orchestration, scalable multi-cloud infrastructure, and responsible AI principles.
A track record of defining and scaling complex technical platforms that deliver meaningful business impact.
Deep engineering partnership experience on architecture, prototypes, and fast-paced technical development.
Exceptional executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience building and developing high-performing product teams and leaders.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; advanced technical education is a plus.

In California, the pay range for this position is $255,500 - $397,250
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
