The Data Conversion Specialist is responsible for extracting, transforming, validating, and migrating data from legacy systems to target applications while ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and completeness. The role requires strong analytical skills, expertise in advanced Excel-based data manipulation, and the ability to manage large datasets efficiently. The specialist will work closely with business stakeholders, payroll teams, and system implementation teams to support successful data conversion initiatives.

• →Perform end-to-end data conversion activities including data extraction, transformation, validation, and loading.
• →Analyze source data and map it to target system requirements.
• →Develop and maintain data conversion templates, mapping documents, and validation reports.
• →Utilize Advanced Microsoft Excel features, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Power Query, formulas, and VBA Macros, to cleanse, transform, and validate large volumes of data.
• →Perform data quality audits and resolve data discrepancies prior to migration.
• →Execute test conversions and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• →Collaborate with business users and project teams to gather data requirements and resolve conversion-related issues.
• →Conduct reconciliation activities to ensure completeness and accuracy of migrated data.
• →Prepare and maintain documentation for conversion processes, validation checks, and issue logs.
• →Support post-go-live activities, including data verification and issue resolution.

• Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Strong experience in data conversion, data migration, or data management activities.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including: 
  • Complex formulas and functions
  • Pivot Tables and Pivot Charts
  • Power Query
  • VBA Macros development and automation
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data validation skills.
• Experience working with large datasets and performing extensive data cleansing activities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
