As a Payroll Specialist II, you'll act as an experienced payroll and service expert with an understanding of payroll practices, Canadian legislation, and customer requirements. As a subject matter expert, mentor and advisor within our HRO organization, this role is key to the support, development, and success of new associates, specifically in the areas of payroll, legislative and internal process. This experienced specialist role is directly responsible to lead internal projects, develop internal processes and training materials. A successful incumbent must have exceptional customer service skills and be able to prioritize multiple tasks and projects, while making themselves available to support both their internal and external clients.

• Minimum 2 – 4 years client service experience
• Minimum 2 – 4 years full cycle, multi provincial payroll processing experience
• Superior knowledge of MS Office
• Extensive knowledge of ADP’s payroll software and CRM tools
• Comprehensive knowledge of year end processes, deadlines and legislative requirements
• Familiar with external interfaces, HRIS and payroll systems

• Post-Secondary education or equivalent experience
• Canadian Payroll Association (PCP) certification required
• Actively pursuing Canadian Payroll Management (CPM) certification is an asset
• Demonstrates ADP core values
• Effective coaching and mentoring practices
• Proven ability to multitask and delegate activities to complete tasks and project work
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work in fast paced, ever changing environment with the flexibility to work additional hours to support associates and clients during peak periods
