Payroll Specialist - Coopersville Area

We are partnering with organizations in Coopersville that are seeking Payroll Specialists. • →Process bi-weekly payroll for all manufacturing employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• →Maintain employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and changes in pay rates or deductions.
• →Calculate and submit payroll taxes, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• →Reconcile payroll data with general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• →Administer and process employee benefits deductions, such as health insurance and 401k contributions.
• →Prepare and distribute W-2 forms and other year-end payroll reports.
• →Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and benefits.

• 2+ years of experience processing payroll in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex) and HRIS systems.
• Strong understanding of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
• Experience with timekeeping systems and their integration with payroll.
• Ability to handle complex calculations, including bonuses, shift differentials, and overtime.
