Technical Tools
EngineeringFullstack Developer
We are building the operating system for community food programs. Not a food distributor, not a charity - the infrastructure that local food banks couldn't build on their own. Branded storefronts per city, an all-in-one platform to manage inventory, sales, and day-to-day operations, and the support layer that keeps affordable goods flowing to the families who need them.
We serve two audiences at once. Foodbank operators get the tooling to run a real retail operation - pricing, stock, fulfillment, reporting - without standing up a tech team of their own. Families with children, the elderly, and others facing food insecurity get a dignified shopping experience built around their needs, not a generic charity flow.

The Role
We're looking for a senior full stack developer to help build and scale the platform end-to-end - from the customer-facing storefronts to the internal tooling that runs the operation behind them. You'll work closely with our development team and PMs to ship features, own technical decisions, and help keep the platform fast, reliable, and easy to extend.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain features across the full stack - frontend storefronts, admin tooling, and backend services
  • Work with React/Next.js and GraphQL on the frontend, and Angular/NestJS on relevant services
  • Contribute to our commerce layer built on Vendure (or ramp up quickly if new to it)
  • Own infrastructure and reliability topics: Azure, CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, monitoring via Datadog
  • Implement and tune search (Meilisearch or similar), job queues/workers, and caching (Redis)
  • Profile and optimize JavaScript performance, asset delivery, and CDN usage
  • Build responsive, accessible interfaces using Tailwind
  • Work with PostgreSQL for data modeling and performance
  • Collaborate with PMs, developers, and stakeholders across planning, demos, and release readiness
  • Continuously raise the bar on code quality, architecture, and engineering practices
What We're Looking For
  • Senior-level experience with React/Next.js and GraphQL
  • Experience with Angular and/or NestJS
  • Strong, hands-on experience across the stack: Azure infrastructure, Datadog monitoring, search indexers (Meilisearch or similar), CI/CD configuration, Terraform, Tailwind, PostgreSQL, Redis, job queues/workers, JavaScript profiling and optimization, CDN and asset optimization, responsive design
  • Comfortable working independently, asking questions, and challenging assumptions when needed
  • Excellent communication skills
Nice to have: experience with Vendure (will train if not), background in non-profits, logistics, or community platforms.

Why Join Us
You won't just be shipping code. You'll be building the infrastructure that real families rely on. If meaningful work and a team that takes engineering seriously sounds like your kind of environment, we'd love to hear from you.

Salary

Hourly rate from 30 EUR based on skills and experience.

Location
Work from anywhere - see you online. We have offices in old-town Vilnius when you need or feel like coming in.

What about perks?
  • Outgrow your role. Join other initiatives. Build your skills and test your strengths.
  • We will not let you become obsolete. But whatever you do - give it your best.
  • Pitch your ideas about anything. We build startups! Let's build yours together.
  • Work hard, play hard. Adrenaline junkie or zen. Or a casual all-nighter in the city.
  • Take time off. Even if you don't - still do. Don't feel bad about taking a day with a same-day notice. We have all been there. Just be respectful of your responsibilities and to your team.
