Able to read and understand basic blueprints for layout, fit up and weld.

Complete understanding in the use of ATG’s work order/traveler documentation, material heat number tracing, weld maps, and Quality Management System.

Must be able to certify to ASME Sect. IX and AWS qualifications

Able to perform x-ray quality welds on products fabricated from stainless steel and specialty alloys using GTAW
- →
Must be able to occasionally work in confined spaces with limited access and heights.
HS Diploma, GED or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of related experience or technical training or equivalent
Capable of reading advanced blueprints and weld symbols.
Responsible for both fit up and welding of complex pipe spools.
Understanding of GD&T.
Ability to produce and use fixturing necessary to complete weldments/assemblies.
Capable of completing weldments with consideration of tolerances, shrinkage and warpage.
Operate shop machinery (band saw, brake press, shear, drill press, plasma cutter, etc.)
Advanced ability to layout hole patterns, penetrations, properly aligning flanges.
Ability to safely operate forklifts and cranes.
Ability to perform various assembly tasks.
Ability to fit and weld a variety of pipe thicknesses and diameters (0.5”-12” ⌀)
